Electronic statements do more than help people save time and money – they also benefit the environment. E-Statements reduce paper waste and energy use associated with the printing and mailing thousands of statements every month. Consequently, we created a Community Bank e-Statements advertising campaign that highlighted the environmental benefits in addition to other savings. The campaign tied in local environmental organizations as an opportunity for the bank and its customers to come together and make a difference.
It worked. Not only did the bank double the number of customers enrolled in e-Statements compared to the same period last year, donations were made to help support the environment.
