Electronic statements do more than help people save time and money – they also benefit the environment by reducing paper waste and energy consumption associated with the printing and mailing thousands of statements every month. We created an integrated campaign for Community Bank that highlighted these environmental benefits in addition to other savings. Tying in a few local environmental organizations created a nice opportunity for the bank and its customers to come together and make a difference.
It worked. Not only did the bank double the number of customers enrolled in e-Statements compared to the same period last year, donations were made to help support the environment.
